Windows

Casement | Tilt & Turn | Vertical Sliding

At M&E we fabricate all our own windows in our factory at Sittingbourne in Kent, using one of the finest profile extrusions available. The extrusion company we have chosen is Selecta Profiles based in Birmingham. All the profiles they supply are extruded using only virgin polymer ensuring colour fixing on the finished faces and indeed the whole of the product.

All the frame members on the entire windows are fully reinforced using hardened PVC, which not only reinforces the complete frames it adds considerably to the thermal qualities along with greatly reduced sound insulations.

The benefits of using the thermal (Reinforcement) inserts

  1. The thermal reinforcement goes to the very edge of the mitre and is welded in place at each corner and joint. With steel or aluminium you have to cut it short to the shoulder of the mitre and therefore is not welded at the corner juncture.

  2. Steel and Aluminium reinforcement is inherently cold and superb at conducting both heat and cold equally, this could lead to condensation forming when the critical condensation conditions are met on the frame members, this is not the case with PVC reinforcement.

A range of styles and colours to suit your home

There are several foils (Grained Effect) available, Rosewood, Golden Oak, Anthracite Grey and White Ash, all available in dual coloured i.e., Rosewood outside of the window and white inside. We also fabricate to any RAL colour you wish, you could have Lime Green if you wanted, if Lime Green is your colour and taste.

Security

All the windows fabricated at M&E are fitted with the latest high security locking systems available and to ensure we maintain this criterion, we review our locks and furniture every November to ascertain whether any new innovations have come on to the market, and if superior to the ones we use, we will change to the better locks for the ensuing year.

Manufactured Locally

It is important that with a performance window you require a performance double glazed unit. M&E fabricates our own double glazed units in house at Sittingbourne. All units include, Soft Coat Low “E”, Warm Edge Spacer Bar with the cavity filled with Argon Gas. The warm edge spacer prevents condensation forming around the perimeter of the unit. With aluminium spacer bar, condensation can form and this in turn can lead to moss growth on the internal gaskets of the frame or sash, if not dried and cleaned on a regular basis.

Experience you can trust

M&E will only use experienced qualified fitters that are all directly employed by M&E to install windows in your home; they all take pride in their work and work as if they were working on their own house. The fitters are under no pressure to fit an unreasonable amount of windows per day, this gives them time to pay attention to detail and ensures the windows are fitted correctly. We will not use subcontract fitters to carryout installation works.

Whilst on the other hand, will return to the office and prepare your detailed estimate; priced at the best price we can do “First Time”. The estimate will then be send by 1st class post. Once you have your estimate and you’re happy with it, it will be for you to make contact with Able Glass, to confirm your acceptance.
